We do not save credit card information; however, we register a payment ID to be able to assign each payment, the period of the subscription, the price, the currency, the VAT (value-added tax – dependent on your country) and the payment provider to the respective purchaser.

5.1. Google Analytics

Your data is sent to Google in encrypted form. We do this to analyze how people use the app to improve it.

5.3. Google Analytics Remarketing, AdWords, Double Click

​ Our websites use the features of Google Analytics Remarketing combined with the cross-device capabilities of Google AdWords and DoubleClick. This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
This feature makes it possible to link target audiences for promotional marketing created with Google Analytics Remarketing to the cross- device capabilities of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. This allows Google to display advertisements based on your personal interests and your previous usage and surfing behavior on one device (e.g. your mobile phone), on other devices (e.g. tablet or computer). Once you have given your consent, Google will associate your web and app browsing history with your Google Account for this purpose. This way, any device that signs in to your Google Account can use the same personalized promotional messaging. 5. 4. Adjust

​ For our Apps on iOS and Android we use the services of Adjust GmbH (Saarbrücker Str. 37a, 10405 Berlin, Deutschland, “Adjust”). This allows us to track and analyze, which marketing channels or sources show the best results, which helps understand, how our users use the app. Furthermore, Adjust processes IDFA, GAID or similar IDs for mobile end devices. Performance: We process data to analyze and, if necessary, improve and further develop our app and website. To guarantee a flawless performance, we use the collected data to improve and fix the app and website. We do not collect data to record or analyze statistics publicly.
Feedback: We process feedback to revise and reply to users’ needs. Feedback will also be used to further develop the app.

​ Minors (users under the age of 18) can register; however, they need to give us two different email addresses – the minor’s and the parent’s address. After registration the parent will receive an email to confirm their address. Furthermore, minors will always be in private mode in the app, and they are not able to change it. So, minors’ content will only show up to users whose follow request they have accepted. Sensitive data, that is height, weight, body fat percentage and fat free mass index, are not public. However, minors can fill in said data for their own use. The use of the GymRadar is restricted for minors. Minors can only see

Adults only see minors on the GymRadar if they have accepted their follow request beforehand.

We pass on data to third parties in the following cases:

We pass on data to third parties, which help us provide and improve our products and services (e.g. maintenance, analysis, payment, fraud detection, marketing and development). Service providers have access to your data, if that is necessary regarding the completion of these tasks. They are obliged to not pass on or use your data for any other purpose. We use service providers like Adjust and Google.

10. For how long do we keep your data?

​ We save your data for the time you are a registered user. If you delete your account, we only keep data that is necessary due to legal (liability, limitation of actions, retention period) or any other reasons.

It’s your right to demand the deletion of your data, if it is not still used due to legal basis. If the legal requirements are given, we will delete your data immediately.

For the same reasons as in 11.3., it’s your right to demand a restriction of the processing of your data. In this case, we need to store your data (e.g. as evidence); however, your data may not be used in any other way anymore.

It’s your right to receive your provided data in a common machine-readable form, if you’ve given your consent to process your data beforehand or if it’s needed for fulfilling a contract.

11.6. Objection

It’s your right to file an objection against the processing of your data, if it’s carried out based on justifiable interest. In this case, we are legally obliged to weigh your interests up against our own. Should our interests overweigh, we will reject your objection and justify our actions. Otherwise, we will immediately stop the data processing.

11.7. Complaints

If you feel like we’re violating the Austrian data protection law and, consequently, your rights while processing your data, please contact us to clarify any questions. Of course, you also have the right to file a complaint to the Austrian data protection authority.
